Help Fund The Mission To Honor Our Heroes and Their Families and To Teach the Next Generation

We create original art, books, and curriculum that preserves American stories, honors the sacrifices of our protectors, and helps families, churches, schools, and communities teach faith, courage, respect, gratitude, and history.

Our mission transforms meaningful art into lasting impact. Our goal is to honor every fallen hero, military and first responder by preserving their names and stories in artwork spanning from the Revolutionary War to today. Through these pieces, we help families and communities understand the full story of our history, the good, the bad, and the ugly. So we can honor sacrifice, learn from our past, and build a future grounded in respect, gratitude, and truth.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

History Must Be Remembered, And the Next Generation Must Be Taught Well

Many of the stories that shaped our nation are being forgotten. Children often learn fragments of history with a spin without understanding the sacrifice, courage, failures, faith, and hard lessons behind it. Craig’s work is designed to help change that.

Through powerful visual art, books, and teaching resources, this mission helps families, churches, educators, and communities engage history in a way that is meaningful, memorable, and grounded in truth.

This is more than artwork. It is a teaching tool. It is a tribute. It is a conversation starter. It is a way to honor heroes, remember sacrifice, and help children understand where we have been and why it matters.

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT FUNDS

What Your Support Makes Possible

New Original Art - Your support helps Craig research, design, and paint new works that honor military heroes, first responders, historic events, and the values that built strong communities.

Children's Books That Bring Art to Life - The paintings are designed to become books and story based tools that help children, parents, and grandparents explore history together.

Curriculum and Discipleship Resource - Support helps transform the stories behind the paintings into engaging curriculum for homes, churches, schools, and community groups.

Public Displays and Community Projects - Funding can help place meaningful works in churches, schools, museums, courthouses, and community spaces where they can teach and inspire others.

Research and Documentation - The best historical art takes more than paint. It takes time to study names, stories, events, symbolism, timelines, and lessons so the final work reflects truth and meaning.

Outreach and Expansion - Your gift or purchase also helps expand the reach of the mission through printing, framing, speaking, events, curriculum development, web tools, and promotion.

We can only do this with help from our sponsors.

Honoring Fallen First Responders Heroes

Imagine documenting every fallen first responder in the history of the the USA, State-by-state, county-by-county, name-by-name. These projects focus on honoring fallen heroes to help communities remember the names, lives, and sacrifices of those who served and to honor and show appreciation to the officers, fire fighters, and other first responders.

Honoring Military Heroes

Examples of The Lessons Learned From History

Our history pieces help families and communities discuss and learn the lessons from the good, the bad, and the ugly of America’s story.

Examples of International History and Events

Every story is worth telling, every country has good, bad, and ugly examples to learn from. We also tell the other stories.

About the Artist

Craig A. Stevens didn’t set out just to paint pictures, he set out to make sure people are never forgotten.

As an Industrial and Systems Engineer, consultant, speaker, and teacher, Craig spent decades helping organizations solve problems and improve systems. But along the way, something deeper began to take shape. He saw a different kind of problem that couldn’t be fixed with charts or processes. Too many stories were being lost. Too many names were being forgotten. Too many children were growing up without truly understanding the sacrifices that built the world they live in.

So he picked up a brush.

What began as a passion became a calling. Today, known as The Flags of America Artist, Craig creates powerful, story driven paintings that honor fallen military heroes and first responders often incorporating their actual names into the artwork so they are remembered, not just in records, but in something people can see, feel, and pass down.

But the mission didn’t stop with art.

Each painting becomes a doorway to conversations, io children’s books, to curriculum, into family and church discussions about courage, sacrifice, faith, and responsibility. Craig’s work helps parents explain hard truths, helps children understand where we’ve been, and helps communities remember who they are.

This is not mass-produced work. It takes time, research, care, and commitment to get it right—to honor each life with dignity and to tell each story truthfully.

And that’s why support matters.

Every contribution helps Craig continue this work—researching names, creating new pieces, developing books and curriculum, and placing these stories where they can teach and inspire others. Whether through a gift, a purchase, or an introduction, your support helps ensure that these heroes are remembered and that the next generation understands the cost of the freedoms they enjoy.

Because if we don’t remember… we risk losing more than history.

Ann Jagger and Craig A. Stevens Turn the Art into Children's Books and Curriculum

Books and companion curriculum help turn artwork into lasting educational tools for homes, churches, and community groups. For every piece of art, we have a Book planned to be comprised of three sections: a heartwarming children's story, activities for adults to do with the child, and a story for the adult that provides a historical perspective on both the story and art. The curriculum follows the stories in the books.

Ann Jagger is a storyteller at heart, known for weaving humor, humanity, and heart into every page she writes. With a passion for bringing history to life, Ann partners with artist Craig A. Stevens to create stories that honor real heroes—from first responders and military service members to everyday individuals whose courage shaped the world we live in.

Through her companion stories for caregivers, Ann gently bridges the past and present, giving families a meaningful way to explore the people and moments behind each piece of art. Her writing invites readers to look a little closer, feel a little deeper, and remember that even the greatest heroes were, at their core, human.

When she’s not writing, Ann is often dreaming up her next adventure, building connections through storytelling, or finding creative ways to make learning feel like a shared experience rather than a lesson.

Her work reflects a simple belief: stories don’t just teach us about history—they help us see ourselves in it.
